We are on the look-out for a confident, engaging person with a sunny personality to join our Tauranga sales team for three months.
If you enjoy sales, are confident with computers and are inspired about working with online event management software that helps organisations take the hassle out of running events and courses we would love to hear from you.
The role
Your role will be to call select charities, schools and small businesses to introduce Events Pronto, create excitement about the possibilities it offers and arrange for them to meet a product specialist for a demonstration. The role will give you the opportunity to:
- Work with a small, friendly team with a very high service ethic.
- Enjoy regular part-time or full-time hours - school holidays off if desired.
- Earn a competitive hourly rate, appropriate to your own skills and experience.
The person we are looking for will have:
- Excellent telephone manner and ability to build rapport with a wide variety of people.
- A positive, energetic style, backed by good listening skills and loads of common sense.
- The wisdom to understand when the product is clearly not a good fit for the organisation and move on cheerfully.
- The tact and tenacity to push for an appointment when an opportunity exists.
- Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new programmes quickly.
- Sales experience and/or recent involvement in volunteer or community group activities is a strong advantage.
